Robbie Fowler celebrates scoring for Manchester City in the 28th minute of their Premier League match against Fulham.
The game at the City of Manchester Stadium – the first of the season – ended in a 1-1 draw as Collins John equalised for Fulham in the 56th minute.
Fowler finished the season as joint top scorer for City, along with Shaun Wright-Phillips, on 11 goals in all competitions.

Manchester United legend Bobby Charlton, far left, looks down in the dumps as the referee books him for refusing to take a free kick against Tottenham at Old Trafford.
The occasion was the annual FA Charity Shield match – and Charlton was convinced two Spurs players were not ten yards from the ball.
As Denis Law thumps the ball down, England veteran Nobby Stiles makes his feelings obvious. George Best is remonstrating with the ref, but Spurs striker Jimmy Greaves, second left, is keeping his distance.
The match ended in a 3-3 draw, which meant the clubs shared the shield for six months each.
